July 18th 2010 - Did a 3 hour practice portrait digital study piece thing... Clickto view.
July 15th 2010 - I finished the digital painting i've been doing forever :) Click here to have a look! Prints also available. I've now started another digital piece to practice close-up skin work etc.
June 9th 2010 - I just found a review of my website here -random, but nice! I've been working on my current digital painting for a bit this week and last, it's coming on slowly but surely... Also added a new retouched image to the gallery today.

I've also been trying to get back into oil painting - here's a quick one I did on the 25th of the one and only Lady Gaga.
May 7th 2010 - I'm currently spending a lot of my free time working on my rather vast side project, of which i've showcased nothing so far - i'm intending to make an art book from the complete body of work and use it as my concept art portfolio. Very exciting stuff :) I'll upload a few bits and bobs to here when I can. In the mean time, fancy a personalised painting? Send me an email and let's discuss. B

About Brooke
I am, in the broadest sense, a 'Creative Artist'. I love creating all kinds of art, from traditional to digital, and also performance.
As an artist, Iwant to do everything all at once - Some people's response to this is 'Jack of all trades, master of none' to which I say, b*llocks :) The people who say this are those without a single talent. There is no reason why we can't be talented at more than one thing. I have many interests which I pursue all at once, some more than others, some which vary from time to time. I first started painting with acrylics, followed by oils (my favourite medium), and have recently been exploring digital art, sculpture and prosthetics.
Everything I do has a sense of drama to it and a very theatrical nature, and I intend to continue to do the things I love and keep striving to improve for the rest of my life.
I would love to work creatively in the film industry; whilst i'm building up my portfolio and experimenting with my work, I work full-time as a Retoucher.
Having had many random websites since the age of 11, I decided to finally get a full portfolio website up, which was launched on Friday 26th June 2009.
